Arguably it all started early in 1964, the same time Radio Caroline, the first UK off-shore pirate radio station, went on air; I was conceived! Meanwhile the thousands of components that combined to make AMW 195B, a Series IIa Land Rover, were being produced. By December of the same year I was a "difficult" baby and AMW had been on the road for three months. Now turn the clock forward to December 3rd, 2004 - I had just turned that tragic age of 40 and, having recently purchased a Land Rover Defender 90 TD5 Hard Top, was enjoying life to the full. But something was missing. Turning 40 plays many tricks with your mind. |
